Enhanced 256bits
of encryption
All data will be compressed and encrypted with 256-bit encryption with an encrypting key selected by the user on WebSync client before being uploaded and stored on WebSync Secure Server. The encrypting key will NEVER be uploaded to WebSync during backup. In addition, it is also possible to upload backup data through a secure SSL channel to further increase the level of security.
Secured offsite
replication
The replication application of WebSync offers an additional level of data protection. Through this application, the data of the backup server can be replicated to another server located away from the primary backup server. In case the backup server fails, backup data are still available in the replication server.

continuously protected
WebSync is equipped with advanced Continuous Data Protection (CDP) feature which can be set to capture every version of the data of a file that has been saved to your hard drive. With CDP, whenever you have made changes to the files in the backup set, it will automatically backup the changes to WebSync Secured Server.

WebSync solution is developed with Java. Therefore, it can run on all common operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac, NetWare, UNIX and all other platforms that support Java.

WebSync will notify every backup user about the backup status after a scheduled backup. The user will know if the backup is successful, with errors or warnings, etc. It also proactively informs system administrator on any error occurred on the backup server through a comprehensive administrator report. System log files are also available on the web management console for easy trouble shooting.
One clic
online restore
WebSync allows users to restore backup data via the Internet through any web browser. This provides you with the option of restoring your backed up data from a computer that has no WebSync client applications installed. It would thus be very useful when you need to restore some backed up files during traveling, or when your notebook is stolen during your business trip.
